We stayed at Landhaus Beckmann for several nights. Our room was big, quiet and clean and the bed was comfortable. Nothing to complain here. The breakfast was also good and they serve gluten-free bread on request. That is top! The Spa area is also nice. They have a steam bath, a 60°C and a 90°C sauna, nice shower and a great lounge area. However, they don't have a swimming pool/bath area although their description says something else. I think it should be free entry for hotel guests, but instead you pay 5 Euro per person per day. The restaurant serves a variety of food (see photos), with lots of vegan options. Some dishes are nice, others didn't hold up to our expectations. At one dinner, we waited 50min for the main course. It was busy, but there were still many free tables. For a 4 star hotel absolutely a No-Go! It also happened a few times, that the reception was unstaffed. Also a sign of mismanagement. The staff is polite and I think they are doing their best, but the hotel needs to improve its service to deserve its 4 stars. This is my opinion.
